After I saw the post on the group I feel I should write about this to inform guys especially newbie who are just starting out.

Scammers are widespread in the in the crypto scene and securing your wallet, online exchange account, email and other of your important account with a two factor google authentication is the safest thing to do. Most crypto currency wallet, and online exchange such as poloniex offers their users the option to enable a two step verification to block unauthorised access to your account. The google two step verification protect your account from hijacking by adding an extra layer of security to all your account and help you keep the bad guys out even if someone else get your password it won't be enough to have access to your account. Here's how it works whenever you login to your wallet or trading account like poloniex you'll enter your email and password as usual and you will be asked for a six digit code that will be generated by the google authenticated app

How to Enable Two Factor Authentication

1. Download and Install the google authenticator app on your Android Smartphone or on your iOS device

2. After you have install the app login on your wallet or online exchange account go to the "Setting or Security " area and click on the link that says two step verification or two factor authentication you will be provided with a bar code you can scan or a 16 digit code ( Something like this: AHKEKB25HK2GKALWBF) copy the 16 digit code and go to your newly install google authenticator click on the plus icon you will be given two option to either scan the bar code or enter provided key which is the manual entry. In this case am using the manual entry so click on the "provided key" and fill out the details let's say am turning on the two step verification for my poloniex account I will enter Poloniex as the account name and I will paste the 16 digit code I copied from the website to the provided key area below it is an option for time based or counter base chose time base and click the add button the google authenticator app will always generate a time based 6 digit code that will be required whenever you want want to login to your poloniex account.
